Community Craft & Chat on Thursday 18th November 2021 @ 2-4pm in St Mary’s Church, Flowton
Community Alliance for a Rural Environment
Do you CARE about the open green landscapes in your local rural environment,
the strong countryside communities, and the rural lifestyle?
Do you CARE about protecting your local rural environment and building a stronger community?
CARE Suffolk is a group of residents – spanning villages of Flowton, Burstall, Bramford Tye, Bramford, Somersham, and Elmsett – who all care about this local rural environment and lifestyle.
We believe that by keeping the countryside as countryside, and by maintaining the tranquil and beautiful public walks that surround these villages, that we can all enjoy the physical and mental health benefits that come with being in such a special and valuable landscape area.
CARE Suffolk will be organising social and recreational activities in the villages, with the goal of organising educational activities that teach about wildlife, farming, and conservation in the area, and to campaigning to protect the rural environment and landscape from unsuitable developments that would significantly impact those goals.

Next meeting: Thursday 17th December 2021

Our group is growing, and you are welcome to join us.
Together we are stronger.
There are currently THREE large scale solar PV facilities threatening the countryside in this area.
They go right up to peoples homes, surround villages, and intrude and/or cut off walking and wildlife routes.
This is unprecedented on this scale in the UK.
To receive updates on these either follow us on Facebook, or sign up to receive email updates below, or both.
